Gianni Ravera
Gianni Ravera (Chiaravalle, March 9th, 1920 - Rome, May 15th, 1986) was an Italian singer and patron of singing events. His real name was Lenin. In the 40's and 50's has been a quite famous singer. He took part to three editions of Festival di Sanremo: in 1954 with "Gioia di vivere", without gaining the final and, in 1955, with "Non penseṛ che a te", Cd N°4 of the series Via Asiago, 10. In 1959 he created the Festival delle Voci Nuove of Castrocaro. In years he has become also Patron, promoter and artistic director for several editions of Festival di Sanremo.
