Gennaro "Gino" Latilla (Bari, November 7th, 1924) is an Italian singer. He took part to Festival di Sanremo in 1952 with three songs among which "Un disco dall'Italia", but he won only in 1954 together with Giorgio Consolini, with the song "Tutte le mamme" an, the same year, he came third with "E la barca tornò sola". He also won at the first edition of Canzonissima with the songs "Buon anno, buona fortuna" and "Mamma", then in 1955 he won at Festival di Napoli together with his future wife Carla Boni (they will have got married in 1958). Among his greatest successes "Vecchio scarpone", "Casetta in Canadà", "E la barca tornò sola", "Io sono il vento".
