Frankie, alias Francesco Lo Vecchio, is an interpreter provided with very warm vocal style which let him sing pieces with a voice very close to George Benson and Al Jarreau's one.
The most representative song, enclosed in the collection "I need your lovin" dedicated to him, is certainly the titletrack of the album: a cover of Teena Marie's more famous version, that launched him in the world of covers and brought him to create, together with Paolo e Pietro Micioni, the Canthina Band, one of the most appreciated bands, at the moment, in the world of 70's cover bands.
